Son of Man

Jon and I have been leading a young adults group at our church for almost a year, and last night we talked about the phrase “son of man.” It appears 178 times in the Bible, ninety-three times in Ezekiel. God uses it, as the note in my Ryrie Study Bible explains, to “remind Ezekiel that in contrast to the Majestic God, he was merely a mortal man.”
